Roma Bastús regularly advises debtors, creditors, and private equity and investment funds on distress scenarios involving restructuring and liquidity injection, defensive postpetition and loan-to-own financing, as well as on going-concern business acquisitions during pre-pack sales proceedings, and on insolvency proceedings in the common phase and in the framework of liquidation plans.
He has participated in many cases of her specialty, including relevant cases involving many jurisdictions.
In litigation, he has participated in many insolvency proceedings, as well as in disputes in the arbitration courts, including at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
He is an associate lecturer of commercial law at ESADE Business & Law School.
He is the author of several law review articles and publications on restructuring and insolvency. He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association.
