Advising on labor proceedings and corporate employment matters
Rachel Burgos advises on processing labor proceedings before the labor courts, particularly handling unjustified, wrongful and unfair dismissals, protection of fundamental rights and occupational accidents and diseases.
She advises national and international companies on labor matters, focusing on internal preparation and revision of documents, internal policies, updating internal rules, due diligence processes and internal investigations. She also advises clients during tax inspections before the labor authorities.
Before joining Cuatrecasas as an associate, she completed an internship in the Santiago office in March, 2023. She was an international private law assistant at Universidad de los Andes and works with the company Interrogadores preparing students for their final exams.
