Specialist in Spanish and European competition law, including merger control, antitrust proceedings and State aid.

Pablo López advises on merger notifications to the European Commission and to national competition authorities, as well as defending clients in antitrust infringement proceedings (including cartel cases and abuse of dominant position cases) and in litigation before the courts.

He also specializes in contractual advice in relation to vertical agreements, State aid, the design and implementation of compliance programmes, as well as during dawn raids carried out by competition authorities.

Before joining Cuatrecasas, he worked in the competition law departments of national and international firms.

He has lectured on competition law in the Master in Markets, Industry, Sports and Entertainment Law at ISDE Law & Business School and was an adjunct lecturer in the Master in Legal Consultancy at Instituto de Empresa (IE).

He is a member of the Madrid Bar.
