Juan Pablo Rico provides national and international companies with comprehensive consultancy on infrastructure, energy and decarbonization—accompanying clients from the project development through financing and implementation—as well as on the acquisition and disposal of assets, capital markets and other M&A transactions relating to their activities in the industry.
With over 30 years of experience, he has led complex transactions in the different industries of financial, commercial and general services, infrastructure, energy and the environment, providing innovative solutions and alternatives, several of them becoming the first transactions of their type in Mexico.
He has recently specialized in environmental technology companies and projects, and carbon footprint reduction for both local clients and North American clients in Latin America.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, he worked in New York and Mexico at leading international law firms headquartered in New York, and for the last 10 years at the law firm in Mexico that he founded.
