Ignacio Escrivá de Romaní specializes in capital market transactions (including initial public offerings, takeover bids and equity issuance) and advises listed companies on commercial law.
He is an expert in complex company sales transactions and investments, as well as in corporate restructurings led by national and international funds and business groups. His experience in transactions includes participation in distressed transactions, including the issuance of hybrid and blended instruments, such as warrants and convertible bonds. He is secretary non-director of several companies.
He lectures on private equity and the capital market at Universidad de Navarra and on commercial law at Centro de Estudios Garrigues (Universidad Europea). He also lectures in the Master for Admission to the Practice of Law and to the Profession of Court Agent + Master in Legal Consultancy (dual degree) at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.
He talks about structural modifications in the postgraduate course Expert in Corporate Governance and M&A Transactions at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and gives talks in the Master in Business Restructuring at the Madrid Bar Association.
He has lectured at the Fundación Rafael del Pino and in the master program at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He has also collaborated with Villanueva University Center and Afi School of Finance, speaking about M&A and corporate law matters.
