Hugo Nunes focuses his practice on advising clients on developing real estate projects, covering all phases in the value chain, including designing, planning, structuring and negotiating the transaction, license acquisition, and construction, as well as management and marketing.
In his over 20 years of experience, he has advised Portuguese and international developers, investors and public institutions from different sectors on residential, tourist, commercial, industrial, logistics and agroforestry projects, as well as advising on facilities and infrastructure.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, he worked for nine years at a boutique law firm specializing in land planning, of which he was a co-founding partner. Before that, he worked in the real estate and town planning practices of other Portuguese law firms. He also worked at the Lisbon city hall for five years, advising on housing, assets and urban planning matters.
He is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association.
