Ramón Lacomba has built up his extensive experience in labor law and social security law through different spheres of responsibility.
As an investigator, in 1998 he defended his work on the development of the collective bargaining process, and he obtained a doctorate in law in 2002 with his thesis on social security, for which he completed research periods in Italy.
He has written several publications and collaborates with specialized journals. As a professor, he has worked as an associate lecturer in the Department of Labor and Social Security Law at the Universitat de València for over nine years. He also speaks on labor relations at many conferences and courses. Previously, he lectured in the Master in Legal Practice at the Universitat de València.
He has worked as a labor lawyer at leading national law firms and formed part of the Cuatrecasas team of labor lawyers, advising clients and defending their interests in court.
He worked as the Human Resources Director of the Príncipe Felipe Research Center Foundation for five years, combining people management with the supervision of the center’s legal and labor affairs.
