María Francisca Bannura advises on the environment, natural resources, public concessions and public law.
She has advised project developers and financial institutions on project financing and M&A transactions, environmental project assessments, administrative and court claims, as well as on a wide range of regulatory matters relating to the relationship between developers and the public services.
Recently, she advised clients on the environmental aspects of important transactions, particularly advising several national and international banks on the assessment of the regulatory compliance status of energy projects, as well as of infrastructure, mining, aeronautics, aquaculture and road management projects. Her advice included aspects of environmental assessment, permits, concessions and water use rights.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, she worked in the environment, natural resources and public law department of a leading law firm in Chile and worked in the legal division of the Ministry for the Environment.
