Elvira Azaola is an expert in Basque Country taxation and in tax planning for major corporate groups, specializing in M&As and other business restructuring processes.
She advises clients on and defends them in tax inspection procedures. She also advises on taxation, restructuring and sale of family businesses, as well as on tax planning of family estates, including inheritance law.
She advises developers and construction companies on real estate taxation matters.
She speaks regularly on current tax issues, taxation of large corporate groups and family businesses in webinars, seminars and conferences. She also speaks in training sessions organized by the Spanish Association for Management Progress, the Basque Confederation of Employers’ Organizations and chambers of commerce.
She frequently collaborates with Innobasque, the Basque Innovation Agency, and has participated in training sessions of different clusters, e.g., the energy cluster.
