Elisa Legorreta is a Senior Associate at Cuatrecasas and has more than 15 years of experience in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, as well as in domestic and international arbitration (administered by ICC, LCIA, CAM, CANACO). She specializes in disputes in the M&A, financing, infrastructure, construction, energy and insurance and financial sectors.

Elisa has a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, where she graduated with honors, and an LLM from Duke University, where she obtained her law degree with distinction.

She is co-author of several articles related to product liability, human rights and arbitration and is co-author of the book "Strategic Leadership for Women in the Legal Sector" published by Editorial Tirant.

She has also dedicated herself to empowering women in the legal profession through her classes on assertive communication in the online course "Strategic Leadership".

Additionally, Elisa is a regular speaker at conferences on gender equity, social responsibility and international arbitration. Elisa has also served as arbitrator in post M&A and construction disputes. She is a member of ICC, CAM, CANACO, Mujeres en Arbitraje and Abogadas MX.
