Ariadna Biete

Ariadna Biete handles conflict resolution arising from financing agreements as well as court and out-of-court enforcement proceedings involving guarantees granted in the framework of those agreements (e.g., mortgages, pledges, financial guarantees and demand guarantees). She also advises on debt refinancing and acquisition transactions, specifically advising financial institutions and foreign investment funds on analyzing the validity and enforceability of the guarantees associated to these transactions.

She was assistant lecturer and associate professor of procedural law at Universitat Pompeu Fabrain Barcelona, where she carried out teaching and research activities. In particular, she gave classes on civil procedural law.

She currently lectures in postgraduate studies in civil litigation at IDEC - Institut d’Educació Continúa (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) and in the Master in Legal Practice at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

She also speaks regularly in postgraduate courses and conferences on her procedural law specialty and on issues associated with enforcement procedures.
