Ana Álvarez advises national and international clients on company sales and mergers, corporate reorganizations, collaboration agreements and joint ventures, as well as on contractual and corporate matters.
She also advises companies on the new authorization system for foreign direct investment (FDI) in strategic sectors. This system includes infrastructure and critical technologies; energy, food safety and other essential inputs; sectors with access to data; and other sectors involving essential activity.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, she worked at another leading law firm; at Cuatrecasas, she has developed her career between the Madrid and Vigo offices.
She is a non-board member vice-secretary of the board of directors of several companies and a member of the Vigo Bar Association.
She speaks regularly on commercial law and FDI at different courses and academic and business forums.
