Álvaro Fernández

Álvaro Fernández is an employment lawyer and an expert in advising multinational groups and large Spanish business groups on all areas of employment law, particularly on international labor law and global mobility.

He advises on and conducts complex investigations, often involving whistleblowing disclosures, and allegations of harassment and discrimination.

He also specializes in crossborder corporate restructuring, compensation plans and benefits, as well as in collective bargaining, dismissals, downsizing, senior management issues and the legal aspects of introducing new technologies in companies.

Before joining Cuatrecasas, he worked for international law firms.

An active member of the International Association of Young Lawyers, he regularly speaks at international forums on labor law, as well as at several universities and business schools.
