Banca March launches second private equity fund of funds

Cuatrecasas has advised March Private Equity, Banca March’s private equity manager, on launching its second fund of funds (FOF) called March PE Global II. The target size of this FOF is between €250 and €300 million, which will be invested in international private equity.

After the positive results of its first program launched two years ago, with which it managed to raise the target fund size of €250 million and reach over 600 investors in four months, the Banca March Group will recommit 20% and offer its investors the possibility of financing up to 50% of the capital calls. Like its predecessor, the hallmarks of the new fund will be its shareholders’ support, exclusivity, maximum alignment of interests and confidence in the strategy.

All investment will be international, particularly the US and European markets. It also intends to be present in different sectors, particularly megatrends, but also in defensive, generalist and niche sectors, which are committed to sustainable strategies.
