Cementos Molins has successfully completed the acquisition of Calucem, announced in early August, following all regulatory approvals. Cuatrecasas advised Cementos Molins on the transaction and subsequent loan refinancing through a team made up of lawyers Gerard Correig, Manuel Follia, Pedro Amat, Brígida Galbete, Irene Moreno-Tapia, Cristina Vila, Pedro Marques Bom, Luis Bordalo, Alessandro Jones, Guido Adlaoui and Laura Torrecilla.
With this deal, Cementos Molins improves its global positioning by becoming the world’s second largest producer of calcium aluminate cements, expanding and enhancing its offering of innovative and sustainable solutions for the construction sector, and achieving an important step forward in its profitable and sustainable growth strategy.
