Cuatrecasas strengthens its presence in Peru with the promotion of senior associate and lawyer Kiomi Osorio to new partner in the Finance, Corporate and M&A Practice. Her promotion is part of the Cuatrecasas commitment to growth and consolidation in the Peruvian and Latin American legal sector.

Kiomi specializes in advising national and international companies on mergers and acquisitions, financial transactions, capital markets, and banking and corporate law. Her advisory services include complex, multi-jurisdictional share and asset purchase transactions, securities offered through local and international issuances (under US Rule 144-A and Regulation S), traditional and structured financing, project financing and investment funds.

Holder of a Bachelor of Laws from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and a Master of Laws from the University of Pennsylvania, she has also completed specialization courses including financial accounting. She was an assistant lecturer in banking law and insurance law at Lima’s University of San Martín de Porres, and in capital markets at the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences and the University of Lima in 2010.
