Cuatrecasas, a leading law firm established in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, has published its annual report outlining its global activity in 2018. The report provides an integrated view of the firm’s sustainable business and uses the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standard to measure the results. It also relates the milestones with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations Global Compact, a benchmark framework for integrating sustainability principles into the firm.

In his presentation letter, Senior Partner Rafael Fontana emphasized the value of the firm’s activities: “Cuatrecasas is now a more inclusive and egalitarian firm. We have made innovation the cornerstone of our business to change our services and become more efficient. We have grown in Latin America and are in a strong position in Europe. We have improved talent management by good career planning and opening up to work-life balance and flexibility. And we have renewed our commitment to sustainability, focusing on promoting good governance and social action.”

The report is structured around the core aspects relevant for its business and targeted readers. Thus, it focuses on good governance, business and legal advice, human capital, and innovation and corporate social responsibility.
