Cuatrecasas has advised the shareholders of the Seidor Group, a technology services and solutions consultancy, on selling a controlling interest to The Carlyle Group, a leading global investment firm.

With this transaction, subject to obtaining the appropriate regulatory and competition authorizations, Seidor will strengthen its capital structure and position itself as one of the leading global technology consultancies. Carlyle Europe Technology Partners will become the majority shareholder at 60% and the current shareholders will retain the remaining 40%.

Thanks to this advisory service, Seidor—with a €894 million turnover in 2023 and which expects to exceed €1 billion in 2024—gains additional capabilities to execute its growth and consolidation plan in international markets.

The Cuatrecasas team advising on this transaction was made up of lawyers Elena Cuatrecasas, Miguel Trías, Pau Masana and Xavier Oriach (M&A); Iñigo Aguirrezabala and Conchi Bargalló (Tax); and Jordi Puigbó (Labor and Employment).
