Cuatrecasas advises Ransa Group and HIG Capital on structuring $150 million financing

SubscribeCuatrecasas has advised the Ransa Group, a leading end-to-end logistics operator in Latin America, and its shareholder HIG Capital, on structuring a multijurisdictional financing transaction granted by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to consolidate Ransa’s leadership and sustained growth in Colombia and throughout the continent.
The $150 million transaction became the most important deal of the logistics sector in 2024, and was closed with a participation agreement between IFC with Banco Santander and Bladex. Cuatrecasas acted as leading counsel, coordinating implementation of the transaction in 12 jurisdictions.

The Ransa Group is present in 12 countries in Latin America and has 72 offices in the region, over 9,200 employees and a total capacity of 4 million m2 of infrastructure.
