Cuatrecasas advises Opdenergy on refinancing and startup of 10 solar plants with joint capacity of 440 MWp

SubscribeCuatrecasas has advised Opdenergy, an independent renewable energy producer, on a financing transaction to develop and operate a portfolio of 10 photovoltaic plants with a joint capacity of 440 MWp.
The agreement ensures the financing necessary to complete construction and startup of the photovoltaic plants in the pipeline, as well as refinancing the portfolio plants already under way. MUFG, BBVA and BNP Paribas participated in the transaction as the financing banks and Apex Financial Services as the agent.
Under its new strategy of working with a cross-sectoral approach to provide clients with the best lawyers from each specialty area, the Cuatrecasas advisory services were handled by a team of lawyers from Madrid, Barcelona and London, made up of Agustín Cerdá, Javier Vivas, Adrián García and Juan Barenys (Finance), and Alejandro Bonitch (Public Law).
