CUF acquires 13 health centers from miMed network of clinics

Cuatrecasas has advised CUF S.A. on the purchase of 13 health centers in the miMed network of clinics from Sociedade Francisco Manuel dos Santos to bolster its national healthcare network. These clinics, located in the Greater Lisbon area, will start operating under the CUF brand in the first quarter of 2025.

As a result, CUF’s network will expand to 43 health centers, including hospitals, clinics, and community care centers. These centers, located in easily accessible areas, will provide continuous care services in general and family medicine, occupational medicine, dentistry, psychology, and nutrition, as well as nursing care, treatments, clinical tests, and other essential exams.

The Cuatrecasas team advising on this transaction was led by partner Alexandra M. Martins from the Corporate and M&A Practice, with associate Filipa Teixeira Diniz from the same area. Partner Luís Miguel Cortes Martins also participated in the team.
