Cuatrecasas strengthens its position as leader in advisory services for business dispute resolution with the hiring of lawyer Lucía Astarloa as a new partner in its Litigation Practice. Astarloa, who already worked for the firm from 2012 to 2019, is highly experienced in advising national and international companies on corporate law, commercial contracting, and corporate governance and litigation.

She specializes in dispute avoidance and resolution in limited liability companies, having secured unique and groundbreaking court and arbitration decisions in corporate disputes. This has enabled her to build a solid career in commercial litigation.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws with a Diploma in Business Studios from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE). She also completed a Postgraduate Program in Accounting and Financial Statement Analysis at Universidad Pompeu Fabra and later pursued the Advanced Arbitration Program at Universidad San Pablo CEU and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). Beyond her legal practice, she also lectures on corporate law at prestigious institutions.
