Cuatrecasas has moved its offices to the fourteenth floor of Aragonia Tower (Avenida Juan Pablo II, 35), one of the landmark buildings of Zaragoza’s city center. Renowned architect Rafael Moneo designed this 78 m tall skyscraper, which stands out for its large, modern spaces and for being located in the city’s most socio-economically developed area, next to the city council, with direct connections to the airport and the AVE high-speed train station.

On June 1, 28 colleagues, including lawyers and support staff, moved into the 680 m2 of new installations, located on one single floor to improve communication and team cohesion. In Aragonia Tower they will enjoy an open-plan design—most of the offices have glass partitions—and new internal meeting rooms and phone booths, which aim to create a collaborative and eminently digital and noise-free environment. In addition, the glass curtain walls provide 360º views over the city of Zaragoza.

For Antonio García Lapuente, managing partner of the Zaragoza office, the new location will mark a significant improvement in client service. “After 18 years providing our services in calle Costa and 7 more prior to that in Paseo de la Independencia, we chose a building in sync with the twenty-first century and the digital environment in which we live in the legal world. The proximity and ease of communication between lawyers from all the different practice areas will result in faster, more efficient advisory services on all kinds of matters, which are increasingly multidisciplinary and specialized,” he emphasized.

Once again, Cuatrecasas opts for innovation in its offices as it becomes part of Aragonia Tower, and thus moves ahead in line with the flexible work model and networking fostered by the firm.
