Cuatrecasas Innova: new Cuatrecasas brand to revolutionize entrepreneurial ecosystem

Cuatrecasas, a pioneer law firm in the transformation of the legal sector, has created Cuatrecasas Innova, a new brand grouping together all the firm’s open innovation initiatives, to meet the growing needs of the entrepreneurial and technological ecosystem.

The entrepreneurial ecosystem has experienced exponential growth worldwide in recent years, with a significant increase in corporate innovation programs and in new investment funds. Startups and innovative companies are facing unique challenges in various sectors, particularly in the legal sector. Having identified these needs, Cuatrecasas has decided to develop a strategy that promotes innovation with an open focus. Designed to foment collaboration and the exchange of ideas, it provides access to knowledge, tools, resources and opportunities to facilitate the creation of  an environment where players and communities can contribute and find synergies.

• Cuatrecasas Acelera: accelerator program that promotes startup development, and under which Cuatrecasas provided legal support to over 50 emerging companies. This year's program is its 10th edition.
• Cuatrecasas Fast Track: venture client program for piloting and implementing disruptive technologies that improve the efficiency of the firm's legal services.
• Cuatrecasas Ventures: the firm’s investment channel for financing and supporting some of the legaltech startups that have participated in the programs mentioned.
• Innovando con startups: a podcast series in which accredited experts address legal aspects concerning the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
• Jornadas Legales: seminars to help the entrepreneurial ecosystem identify its legal and regulatory challenges.
• Food4Brains: an internal initiative offered to the lawyers as dynamic sessions with leaders in innovation, entrepreneurship and new technologies, to ensure they are up to date with the latest technological trends.

Over 150 lawyers from our offices in Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Portugal and Spain make their legal expertise available for this initiative, to make the most of the firm's knowledge and optimize the exchange of value between the different proposals and ecosystem players. Cuatrecasas Innova has a solid infrastructure with which it aims to forge new collaborations, enabling it to develop new programs and projects that meet future needs.
